Winning the ball in a 1 v 1 to counter attack

Set Up & Equipment

  • If the defender clears the ball out of play in the 1 v 1 then the coach plays a ball in

  • If the attacker scores in the 1 v 1 then the attacking team receive a ball to keep possession and look to score in the small goals with no restrictions

Set Up:

Depth: 40 yards

Width: 40 yards

Equipment:

  • Balls

  • Bibs

  • Cones

  • Poles/Mannequins (Alternative to small sided goals)
