Combining to drop and receive to drive into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on combining to drop and receive to drive into space. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to set back and repeat on both sides of the cone. The player then looks to scan and drop to the cone behind where they look to receive the ball to open out and drive into space. As the player reaches the outside cone the player passes to the coach before moving back towards the central cone to receive and open out to pass back to the coach and then step in to repeat. The player should ensure they stay in control of the ball and receive on the back foot to open out. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
