Combine to receive and touch across to reverse the pass


Description

In this session we are focusing on combining to receive and touch across the body to reverse the pass. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball to the player who sets back first time either side of the cone. The player then scans and drops to the outside cone to receive and set back before moving towards the middle to touch the ball into space and reverse the ball back to the coach. The player should ensure that the touch is on the back foot to take into space and enable the reversed pass. Each set should consist of 3 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
