Combine with teammate to play around the defender
Description
In this session we are focusing on combining with a teammate to play around the defender. The drill begins with the coach passing to player 1 either side of the cone to set back first time. After the player has set back for the second time they look to scan and drop to the mannequin behind to receive the ball and play around the corner to player 2 first time. Player 2 then sets the ball for player 1 to move around the mannequin to meet and pass to the coach. The players then change places and repeat. The weight of pass is important to ensure the tempo is retained throughout. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps per player and should be completed at least two times each side.
