Open and play to step, set, spin and play forward
Description
In this session we are focusing on opening out and playing to step, set, spin and play forward. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who receives on the back foot to open out and play. The player then looks to step up centrally to receive and set back to the coach. Once the player sets back to the coach they look to spin around the cone to meet the ball played by the coach to play first time in to the goal/gate. The player should ensure that they face the ball when they move around the cone. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
