Combining quickly to move out, receive and drive into space


Description

In this session we are focusing on combining quickly to move out, receive and drive into space. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back and moves to the outside of the cone to repeat. Once the player has set back for the second time, they look to scan and move to the mannequin/pole behind them. As the player reaches the mannequin the coach passes the ball for the player to receive on the back foot and drive into space. The player then turns as they reach the middle to play back to the coach and repeat. The player should ensure that they maintain control of the ball and use both feet. Each set should consist of 2 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
