Movement to Receive
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players movement, first touch and ability to drive with the ball. The drill is split into two parts, each with the same set up. The drill starts with the coach indicating where the player should move too. Either left, right or back. The player will receive the ball on the inside of the cone/pole, before taking the ball across the body and passing back, then moving back to the middle. In the progression, the coach will pass to the player, before indicating where they should travel with the ball. The player then drives with the ball to the outside of the cone, before passing back. Each set should last between 30-60 seconds.
