Agility and quickness on/off the ball to receive
Description
In this session we are focusing on our agility and quickness on/off the ball to receive. The drill begins with the coach playing in to player, who looks to set back and move across the agility ladder. The player then receives and sets back once they move out of the ladder. Once the player sets the ball, they look to scan and drop to cone behind to receive and open out. The player then passes back to the coach to then drop in to receive and set back. After the player sets back to the coach, they check their shoulder and drop to the cone behind to receive and open out to play back to the coach and repeat. The player should ensure that they stay light on their feet and scan to be aware of the space when receiving the back. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
