Manipulating the ball with disguise to play forward

Description

In this session we are focusing on manipulating the ball with disguise to play forward. The drill begins with the player moving off the top cone to receive, take across the body and pass back to the coach. The player then drops in short to receive and set back, before moving across to the opposite side of the cone. The player will then receive the ball back off the coach and look to touch the ball into space to play into one of the goals/gates. The players body shape and ability to drop the shoulder will enable them to take the ball in either direction, being able to use both feet and the inside/outside of the foot to control. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
