Dropping in to combine to take the ball out of tight areas

Description

In this session we are focusing on dropping in to combine and take the ball out of tight areas. The drill begins with the blue player setting either side of the cone/pole with the coach. The player then scans their shoulder and moves to the cone behind. The red player then times their run to move into the middle. The blue player sets the ball into the red player after they receive from the coach. The two players then combine to move the ball out of tight areas and then the blue player opens out and plays back into the coach for the drill to be repeated. The players should ensure they constantly check their surroundings and ensure passes are firm to enable the tempo to stay high. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps per player and should be completed at least two times from each side.
