Setting around the opposition to move into space


Description

In this session we are focusing on setting around the opposition to move into space. The drill begins with the coach playing into the red player, who sets back and moves across the agility ladder. As the player moves out of the ladder, the coach plays the ball to the player, to set back and move around the cone/pole to receive and set again, before moving around the deepest cone to play across to their teammate. The players should ensure that they execute the passes firmly to ensure that the tempo can stay high. Each set should last between 30 - 90 seconds and should be completed at least three times.
