Setting the ball around the corner to receive and open out

Description

In this session we are focusing on setting the ball around the corner to receive on the back foot and open out. The drill begins with the blue player moving short to receive the ball off the coach to set back and drop. The coach then plays the ball into the player again, with the player then passing the ball around the corner to the red player, who then looks to set the ball across for the blue player to receive, open out and play back to the coach to repeat. When the player drops back, they should move on an angle so the coach can play the ball infront of the player to enable the pass around the corner. Each set should consist of 6 - 10 reps and should be completed at least three times per player.
