Setting and moving across to drop back and open out
Description
In this session we are focusing setting and moving across to drop to receive the ball. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back and moves on the outside of either cone/pole. The player then receives and sets back again, before moving back to the middle to repeat and then out to the opposite side. Once the player sets outside, they then look to scan their shoulder and move back to create space to receive and open out to play back through the middle to the coach. The drill is then repeated, with the player working in the opposite direction. Each set should consist of 6 - 10 reps and should be completed at least three times.
