First time passes to work the ball into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players ability to play first time passes work the ball into space. The drill begins with the coach playing into the player who sets back, before scanning their shoulder and moving to the cone/pole behind. The coach then plays the ball into the player again, who plays the ball across the cone, and moves to the other side to receive and pass back again. The player then jumps across to the outside cone to set across and move to other side to set back, before moving back to the start to repeat. The player should look to keep passes delicate to retain tempo, but contact should always follow through the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
