Moving Back to Open Out

Description

In this session we are focusing on our players movement to create space to receive and take the ball across the body. The drill starts with the coach playing into the player, with the player setting back, before moving towards the coach for another 1-2. After the second 1-2, the player then back pedals beyond the poles/cones to create space to then receive the ball again and take it across the body to pass back. The pattern then repeats with the player looking to take the ball across to pass with the opposite foot. Each set should last between 30-60 seconds, or a minimum of two sets each side.
