Quickly moving the ball to receive in space & reverse the play

Description

In this session we are focusing on moving the ball quickly, to receive in space and then reverse the play. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player on the outside of the start cone. The player then sets back and jumps across to the middle of the cones to repeat and then does the same on the outside of the other wide cone. Once the player has set for the third time, they scan their shoulder and move to the pole/cone behind them and receive the ball to open out and play back to the coach. The player then looks to move through the two cones to receive and set the ball back, before accelerating out to start on the opposite side to replicate a bounce pass and movement. The player should cushion their first time passes to retain the tempo. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps around and should be completed at least three times.
