Setting to Move into Space


Description

In this session we are focusing on players ability to play first time. The drill starts with the coach playing a 1 - 2 with the player centrally, before the player moves on the outside to repeat. After the second 1 - 2, the player then back pedals to the pole behind, to receive and take the ball across the body, before passing back to the coach. The player then moves back centrally to repeat on the opposite side. We are looking for the intensity to be high throughout, with the ball constantly moving. The drill should last between 30 - 60 seconds, and should be completed at least three times.
