Movement onto the Ball


Description

In this session we are working on our players acceleration into space to receive. The drill starts with the coach playing into the player once they have moved to the outside of the pole/cone. The player then sets back and moves inside the pole for another 1-2, before then moving backwards to create space to receive. The coach then plays into the player for them to take the ball across the body and then to play back into the coach, before accelerating to the other side. Each set should last between 30-60 seconds.
