Receiving on the half turn to dribble into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving on the half turn to dribble into space. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back and moves to the opposite side of the cone to receive on the back foot and drive into the space. The player then looks to slow down and move round the cone and through the gate to then pass back to the coach and repeat. The player should be comfortable receiving the ball with both feet and dribbling with both feet. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
