Dropping to receive on the back foot and play across


Description

In this practice we are focusing on dropping to receive on the back foot and play across. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back on either side of the cone. The player then scans and drops back to the cone behind to receive the ball on the back foot and touch inside to then play across to the coach. The player should open their body to receive on the back foot. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
