Receiving to manoeuvre and take the ball into space
Description
In this practice we are focusing on receiving to manoeuvre and take the ball into space. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball to the player who touches inside and passes back to the coach. The player then moves through the cones whilst always seeing the ball to then receive and work the ball across and back through the gate to pass to the coach. The players body shape should be open and they should scan their shoulder. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least 3 times.
