One touch combinations and receiving on the back foot

Description

In this session we are focusing on one touch combinations and receiving on the back foot. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets the ball across before moving to the opposite side of the cone to receive the ball again and set straight back. The player then scans their shoulder and drops back to the middle cone to receive the ball on the back foot and touch across and play. The player then moves out to the wide cone to receive and set back to the coach before scanning and dropping back to the middle cone again to receive, touch and play. The drill is then completing the opposite side. The players body shape be open will enable them to receive the ball on the back foot. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps each side and should be completed at least three times.
