Turning and using the body to protect the ball


Description

In this session we are focusing on turning and using the body to protect the ball. The drill begins with the player receiving the ball and dribbling to the middle cone. The player then turns anyway they like whilst ensuring they protect the ball by getting their body across. The player then passes to the coach and drops to the middle cone behind to receive, touch and play. The player then drops in to set and then move out to the other side to repeat. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
