Ability to take the ball and turn away quickly


Description

In this session we are focusing on our ability to take the ball and turn away quickly. The drill begins with the player receiving the ball on the back foot to touch and play back to the coach. The player then drops in to receive, touch and then turn. The turn can be any turn and a variety can be worked on. The player then passes back to the coach for a 1-2 before dropping off to receive on the opposite side. The player has to get the ball out of their feet to enable a turn. Each side should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
