Angles to receive the ball on the back foot and half turn
Description
In this session we are focusing on our angles to receive the ball on the back foot and half turn. The drill begins with the player receiving the ball to touch across the body and play to the coach. The player then moves in to play a 1 - 2 before dropping off to receive on the half turn to touch into space and turn back to play back to the coach. The players body shape should enable them to receive on the back foot at all times. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
