Setting and dropping out to receive on the back foot


Description

In this session we are focusing on setting and dropping out to receive on the back foot. The drill begins with player 1 receiving and setting back to the coach. The player then drops out to receive the ball and open out to play to player 2. Player 1 then drops in to receive and set back to player 2 before dropping off again to receive and play. The players should adjust their body shape to receive on the half turn and on the back foot. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps per player and should be completed at least three times.
