Receive and shift to drive into space and play
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving to shift and drive into space and play. The drill begins with the player receiving the ball on the ball foot to touch and then shift back across the body to drive into space. Once the player dribbles past the wide cone they look to play back to the coach and move back to the middle. The player should have a low body position when shifting to enable a quick change of direction. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
