Receiving skills to take a positive touch away from the body
Description
In this session we are focusing on our receiving skills to take a positive touch away from the body. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to move off the cone/pole to receive the ball and push away into space. The player then passes back to the coach and drops in short to set either side of the cone before dropping off the receive and push away again. The player should open the body out and receive on the back foot. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
