Ball control from high balls, open out and play


Description

In this session we are focusing on ball control from high balls, open out and play. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball in the air for the player to control and play back to the coach. The player then steps in to set either side of the cone/pole before scanning and dropping to the middle cone behind. The player then receives the ball, opens out and passes back to the coach. The player should ensure that they concentrate on the ball when it is thrown in. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
