Receive and manipulate the ball in tight spaces


Description

In this session we are focusing on receiving and manipulating the ball in tight spaces. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to set back on both sides of the cone. The player then looks to drop back to receive and shift the ball through the cones to play. The player then moves round the front of the cones to receive, touch across and play before dropping the shoulder to move back through and repeat. The player should retain control in tight spaces and focus on their body shape to receive. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
