Open and play to step, combine and drive quickly into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on opening out to play to step, combine and drive quickly into space. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to open out and play back to the coach. The player then looks to accelerate to the outside of the cone to receive and set back to the coach on both sides of the cone. The player then then moves back to the outside of the cone to receive and dribble back to the middle. The player should adapt their body shape to receive on the back foot to drive into space whilst maintaining control. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
