Receive to open, drive into space and turn
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving to open, drive into space and turn. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to set back first on both sides of the cone. The player then scans and drops to the middle cone to receive and open out. Once the player has opened out they look to drive into space and maintain control before turning as they reach the pole/mannequin. The player then dribbles back to the middle to pass back to the coach and repeat. The player should turn however they want and attempt different turns to improve. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
