Adapt body shape to receive on the back foot and play
Description
In this session we are focusing on adapting the body shape to receive on the back foot and play. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back on both sides of the cone. After the second pass the player looks to scan and drop to the middle pole/mannequin to receive on the back foot to open and play. The player then scans again to drop back and out to receive on the back foot again to open out and play. The player should ensure that they open the hips to ensure they can take the touch away from the body. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
