Receiving skills to open out in tight spaces to play
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving skills to open out in tight spaces to play. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to set back and move inside. The player then looks to receive the ball to open out on the back foot to play before moving back inside to receive and set back. The player then looks to scan and drop to receive the ball to open out and repeat on the opposite side. The player should create space by pulling away from the cone to receive and open out. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
