Controlling the ball out the air to combine and play


Description

In this session we are focusing on controlling the ball out the air to combine and play. The drill starts with the coach and player setting first time either side of the cone. The player then drops back to receive and open out to play. The coach then looks to throw the ball over the players shoulder for them to control and play back to the coach. The player should have eyes on the ball when it’s dropping. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
