Receiving to open out with both feet, turn and play
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving to open out with both feet, turn and play. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who moves off the cone to receive on the left foot to touch into space and pass back to the coach. The player then adapts their body shape to move and receive on the back foot to touch into space before turning back. The player then passes back to the coach and moves quickly to receive and set back before moving back to the start. The player should receive on the half turn and look to take the touch away from the body. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
