Quick feet, bounce passes to drop, receive and play
Description
In this session we are focusing on quick feet, bounce passes to drop, receive and play. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back before travelling across and back through the ladder. The coach then passes back to the player for them to set back, scan and drop to cone behind. Once the player reaches the cone the coach looks to pass the ball to the player who aims to receive on the back foot to open out and play back to the coach. The player then steps to the outside of the cone to receive and set back to the coach before repeating the drill. The player should stay light on their feet, scan their surroundings and adapt the body shape to receive on the back foot. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps each side and should be completed at least three times.
