Playing first time to drop into space and combine
Description
In this session we are focusing on playing first time to drop into space and combine. The drill begins with the coach passing to player 1 who looks to set on both sides of the cone. The player then drops to the wide cone and adapt the body shape to receive and play into player 2. Player 2 then looks to set the ball back to the player 1 before scanning and dropping to the cone behind to receive, open out and play to the coach. The players should ensure that they always scan their surroundings and adapt the body shape to receive on the back foot. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps per player and should be completed at least three times.
