Double Set, Open Out, Play
Description
In this session we are working on our players passing, receiving and movement skills. The session can be used in both 1-2-1 and Group Sessions. The drill starts with the coach playing into the player, who then sets the ball across and moves around the pole/cone. The coach will then play into the player again for another 1-2, before the player back pedals beyond the furthest pole. The player then receives the ball again from the coach, takes the ball across their body, and passes into the coach, whilst moving back towards the first pole/cone to repeat. The same sequence applies in a group session, the only difference being that the players work off two angles and not one. Each set should last between 30-60 seconds.
