Changing direction and movement to receive and drive


Description

In this session we are focusing on changing direction and movement to receive and drive into space. The drill begins with the player accelerating to the middle cone before slowing down to back pedal to the opposite side. Once the player reaches the opposite side they transition to a shuffle to move to the middle cone and back to then receive the ball and drive in to space. Footwork is important and the player should ensure they stay light on the feet and don’t plant the heels on the ground. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
