Gaining power and speed to accelerate into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on gaining power and speed to accelerate into space. The drill begins with the player moving through the agility hurdles. The player should stride through the hurdles with one foot placed in each hurdle. The player then looks to accelerate and move around the cone before moving back through the hurdles and then attack the space. The player needs to pump the arms and knees and ensure that they stay light on their feet and don’t drag their heels. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least two times.
