Quick feet to retrieve the ball and dribble past the defender


Description

In this session we are focusing on quick feet to retrieve the ball and dribble past the defender. The drill begins with the player moving across and back through the agility ladder. The player should stay light on their feet and pump the arms and knees. Once the player has moved back through the ladder they look to accelerate to retrieve the ball and then drive at the mannequin. The player looks to beat the mannequin by showcasing a skill to get past a defender before dribbling the ball to the other side. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
