Speed and acceleration to retrieve and drive with the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on our speed and acceleration to retrieve the ball and drive with the ball. The drill begins with the players sprint up and around the cone/pole ahead, before accelerating down to retrieve a ball. The players then look to move back to the start by dribbling and retaining control of the ball. The players should keep the ball close to the body and use both feet, ensuring they slow down when turning to stay in control of the ball. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
