Building speed and power to accelerate into space
Description
In this session we are focusing on building speed and power to accelerate into space. The drill begins with the player jumping over the hurdles, before working through the agility ladders. Once the player moves out of the ladder, they look to jump over the next hurdle. The player then looks to accelerate to the second cone, before turning and moving around the first cone to accelerate back through the second cone. The player should ensure that they push from the legs and use the arms as elevation when jumping over the hurdles. Each set should consist of 2 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times.
