Reacting to shuffle across and attack the ball to score
Description
In this session we are focusing on reacting to shuffle across and attack the ball to score. The drill begins with both players in the middle of their two cones/poles. The coach will number the cones, then on the coaches instruction the players shuffle to the cone and back to the middle. When the coach says a number, if they say ‘go’ after saying the number, the players will then attack the ball after moving to the cone to battle in a 1 v 1 to score. The players should stay light on their feet and retain a low body position when shuffling to enable themselves to move quickly. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times.
