Quick feet to turn quickly and accelerate to explode out
Description
In this session we are focusing on quick feet to turn quickly and accelerate to explode out. The drill begins with both players sprinting towards the middle area. Both players move to the furthest cone/pole in the middle, before turning and sprinting to the other cone. Once the players have turned around the second cone, they look to explode out and accelerate to finish past the opposite start point. The players should ensure that they slow down on approach to turn sharply around the cones. Each set should consist of 2 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times.
