Sharpness to react and power out through the hurdles to finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on our players sharpness and reactions to power our through the hurdles to finish. The drill begins with the player facing away from the coach whilst moving on the spot. On the coaches instruction, the player will move around the cone and through the middle. After the player moves around the cone and through, they look to power through the hurdles by pumping the arms and knees before moving to meet the ball and finish into the goal. The player should stay light on their feet and stride through the hurdles. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
