Accelerate and decelerate to improve sharpness and reactions

Description

In this session we are focusing on accelerating and decelerating to improve sharpness and reactions. The drill begins with the player working in the smaller square. The player dribbles across as quick as they can before slowing down to turn and move slowly down to the opposite side. Once the player turns again, they look to dribble across quickly again, before turning to take the ball back to the start. After the player returns to the start, they leave the ball to then work in the bigger square. The sequence moves around the same way. The player should ensure that they stay in control of the ball, and when accelerating into space make sure they pump the arms and keep the upper body upright. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times.
