Agility, footwork and ball control to move out of tight spaces


Description

In this session we are focusing on agility, footwork and ball control to move out of tight spaces. The drill begins with the player moving through the ladder and back through the ladder. When moving through the ladder the player should ensure they keep the heels off the ground and pump their arms. As the player moves back to the middle, they receive the ball off the coach, before dribbling through the cones. They should make sure they use both feet and keep the ball close to the body. After the player has moved through the cones they dribble up and around the top cone before passing back to the coach to then repeat. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
