Turning out of tight spaces to accelerate across the pitch
Description
In this session we are focusing on turning out of tight spaces to accelerate across the pitch. The drill begins with the player sprinting around and through one of the gates, to then sprint across and through the next gate. The player then moves around the deeper pole/cone to repeat in the opposite direction. It’s important that the player retains a low body position when turning and slow down when approaching. The drill should be completed at least 3 - 5 times.
